What you will learn
When you want to carry out an optimisation action on a pump, a pumping unit or even on an entire installation, it is important to carry out an energy audit first. The audit consists of carrying out electrical measurements and HMT measurements on the pumps, in order to determine the pumping performance indicators.
Additional checks can be carried out on the correct sizing of the pumps, on the correct alignment of the groups, on the quality of the oils. Other anomalies can be detected by various methods such as thermography or vibration analysis. Finally, depending on the problems encountered, corrective technical solutions can be considered.
